Larry Hartsell (August 15, 1942 - August 20, 2007) was an American martial artist, promoter, teacher and author.

We feel that change is necessary by constantly searching for ways to improve ones martial arts abilities and update training methods embarking on what has become a life journey of investigating and training in various martial arts styles and systems. Over the past five decades extensive research was given to Indonesian Pencak Silat, Shoot Wrestling (Shooto) Japan, Thai Boxing and the Filipino martial arts. During those years the fighting structure has been modified and geared toward the art of grappling and submission. Combining the knowledge in the arts of grappling and submission alongside the skill of trapping and the striking arts, Larry Hartsell took these arts into a new dimension.
The Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Grappling Arts is one of the most sought after arts today. The Jeet Kune Do Arts were created by Si Gung Bruce Lee, who made constant changes throughout his development process. Integrated Grappling is a mixture of takedowns, throws and a various blend of groundwork of all styles, regardless of size, weight or physiology.

Progressive Fighting Systems

Paul’s journey into the martial arts began at a young age.  He studied traditional arts such as Hung Gar gung fu, and received black belts in the arts of Tae Kwon Do and Kenpo.  It was after Paul’s Kenpo school closed (where he was the head instructor at age 16) that Paul was accepted at Dan Inosanto’s Kali Academy.  It was love at first sight. Paul immersed himself into his training and began to assist Dan during demonstrations, seminars and training the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.  Paul also taught classes at the academy.
